| I've been reading this book by Gary Zukav, and I'm inspired by his
ability to keep my interest without utter disgust; however, there were
a few statements that threw me off, and there were a few sentences that
made me smile... You know, that smile that lets one know that the
author had some good intentions while writing this book.
"No
place for spirituality within science.." This may be your opinnion,
Gary, but to me science is the only saving grace for me. I respect all
spiritually enlightening books, however, science really hasn't let me
down. Its solidity allows my faith exist without making me feel
restricted to a list of do's and don't's. You claim spirituality and
religion have no cohesion and yet you still create these moral "sins"
to avoid in your book... Giving oneself credit for succeeding in
life shouldn't be considered a negative influence on one's soul. Yes,
without the "Divinity" as u call it, our attempts would exist with no
results.. or we simply wouldn't exist, but we as humans are concious of
our actions and have free will, so to say one is in vain for following
trough with one's dream, you are contradicting your statement about
keeping oneself from projecting judgments on others...How is that not
similar to religion, again? "Religious methods are more
subjective (or intersubjective in community), relying on varying
notions of authority, ideas believed to have been revealed, intuition,
belief in the supernatural, individual experience, "reasoned"
observations about life or the universe or a combination of these to
understand the universe. Science attempts to answer the "how" and
"what" questions of observable and verifiable phenomena; religion
attempts to answer the "why" questions of value, morals and
spirituality." says Wik.
The more beautiful portions of your
discoveries in my opinion are as follows: "Reverence is not respect...
Respect is judgment. Reverence is a perception, but it is a holy
perception." Emothions are currents of energy that pass throughus...
Emotions reflect intentions. Reverence is not an emotion." "Honor
emotional cleansing at all times..." "The soul is a forcefield of you
being."
There is one statement that made me lift my
eyebrow. If I weren't a semi-understanding person, I might attempt to
make you seem like an ass... but I'm terrible at understanding, so I'll
exploit you anyway! Don't you love me that way? " "Therefore, the
decision to approach Life with reverence often requires courage, not
only of men, but also of women who have adopted these values." WTF??
So, women do not normally possess courage?... Suck it, Gary!
Your segment on non-judgmental justice was refreshing. I'm still working on that, myself.
" Non-judgmental justice is a perception that allows you to see
everything in life, but does not engage your negative emotions.
Non-judgmental justice relieves you of the self-appointed job of judge
and jury because you know that everything is being seen -nothing
escapes the law of karma- and this brings forth understanding and
compassion. Non-judgmental justice is the freedom of seeing what you
see and experiencing what you experience without responding negatively.
It allows you to experience directly the unobstructed flow of the
intelligence, radiance and love of the Universe of which our physical
reality is a part. Non-judgmental justice flows naturally from
understanding the soul and how it evolves." Hats off to you, sir.
You do make several great points which I completely respect. Well, I
enjoy tapping into a brain of higher thinking. You display and
encourage control, depth, and the ability to pull crap out of your ass
and sell it all at the same time. Your my kind of thinker, but I don't
believe I would enjoy your company. Hey, everyone is entitled to their
own opinion. ~Pan-cakes~ | | |
| So, there is a theory that if a male can consume enough pineapple his... hmm... his white paint will taste like pineapple. Duckie, you know what you must do!

| It's been too long... Well a few corrections must be made. My son is Juliun Connor Lirette. There..Now I'm satisfied. The new Incubus album is the bomb digity! New Orleans is...Well, the weather sucks balls, but boredom never occurs. Theaters are dirt cheap. Plus I can purchase a daquiri along with my sour patch. New Orleans also supports the drinking and driving delema by opening drive thru daquiri shops at every intersection. I'm also investigating the increase in obesity during the summer... It's the fucking snowball stands. The lines to a snowball stand, which are on the opposite corners of the drive thru daquiri shops, are longer than the "register to vote" lines.... That's why the politics are so corrupt here in N.O... At least everyone is drunk, therefore, friendly. | | |
| So.... It's a boy... Yeah, we saw a certified ultra sound technician
the other day.... It's a boy. Julian Baily is due to be here on Nov. 19
at an estimated six pounds... It's weird how they determine all of
this. We saw his face on the 3d ultrasound. He has duckie's eyes and my
nose. He's so pretty. We can't wait till he gets here. Niki bought a
beautiful light green baby blanket for him.. well.. it was a her when
she got it... thank God it was green and not pink.. I had already
bought and pink newborn's binky and pink undershirts.. I am afraid to
take them back just incase it is a little girl... I should just stick
with yellow, green and white... that way it isn't gender
threatening. I am having a baby shower at my house on the eighth.
My friend Rachael and I are having a joint baby shower. I can't wait...
planning is taking so long though. I have to contact Viola and LeAnn. I
haven't talked to them in forever. Spam and Billy if you read this....
Take a Ruston trip this saturday and come to my shower... I haven't
seen either of you in forever and now there's a planned occasion. You
have to come see me! I miss you.

| So, it's a girl...Joslyn Esme it is.She kicks me all the time... Duckie felt her kick a couple of weeks ago.. He cried. Now we watch my belly when she kicks... It's hilarious to watch it move. My doctor has two due dates for me.. We aren't sure how far long I am. Dec 2 or Nov 10...Jamie and Donald are supposed to be trowing the baby shower for me. We are sticking with mostly yellow for a theme color just in case it is a boy. Duckie's mom sent us a blanke with "Daddy's Little Angel" sewn into the corner. We have most of the outfits in yellow duckies.. They're so cute. I have a doctor's app. tomarrow. Hopefully he can tell now how far long I am.
Duckie has quit smoking. I am proud of him. He's been about a week and a half now.. no smokes.
He also had a wreck in his car and totaled it. We are looking at a Dodge Stratus now.
Erin and Carrie are wanting to move out by December... Yeah, I hate living with them. Carrie's not that bad... Erin....OMG!!! and that's all I will say. Jamie and Baxter may move in if the other two move out. Their lease is up in Dec. and it just makes sense..I would rather live with those two anyways.
Have a good one. | | |
